O, my great alligator pear,
Excuse my knife,
Pardon my will.
For underneath your dinosaur
Tapestry lies
The soft green kiss.
And this instrument in my hand
May cut and burn --
But all in love.
O, for you are the fairest fruit;
You draw me in
And ruin me.

Just in case I didn't mention it, I love this poem.
